At Muira Village Health Center, we provide comprehensive healthcare services to the Muira Village community and beyond.

  • We offer quick and accurate diagnostic testing, including:

    • Malaria Testing

    • HIV and Syphilis Testing

    • Blood Glucose Monitoring

    • Urinalysis

• Medications

  • All prescribed medications are provided free of charge. Our stock includes:

    • Antibiotics for bacterial infections

    • Antimalarials for treating and preventing malaria

    • Pain relievers for managing acute and chronic pain

    • Vitamins and nutritional supplements

    • Medications for chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension

    In addition, clinics in the surrounding areas often refer their patients to Muira Village Health Center when they are unable to provide certain medications due to stock shortages.

• Family Planning and Maternal Health

  • In late 2024, Muira Village Health Center introduced a family planning and maternal health program to support pregnant mothers. This program includes monthly check-ups, antenatal cards, and screenings to monitor the health of both the mother and baby during pregnancy. Although we do not currently have ultrasound equipment on-site, we recognize its importance in prenatal care. Mothers who require ultrasounds and other advanced procedures are referred to nearby clinics equipped to provide these services. This program is designed to provide ongoing support to mothers throughout their pregnancy, ensuring they have access to the care, resources, and information needed for a healthy journey to motherhood.
